“ALONE” published in an anthology!

Popping in to this very quiet blog to say that I recently got my first short story published in an anthology called Journeys to Uncharted Lands, and the book is available now on Amazon! Click here to check it out and leave us a review.

The story is called “Alone”, and it’s about a young girl named Nina who is spending the night at home without her parents for the first time. There’s a creepy Victorian home and a suspicious nanny and maybe even supernatural forces at play–or maybe not. You decide.

The story was inspired by my own first night sleeping alone, without parents or siblings to make me feel safe. It’s one thing to be on your own, as I was; it’s even more terrifying to realize how much you don’t know about the world, including who is worthy of your trust.

Thank you to NaNoWriMo Los Angeles for including me in their anthology. It’s truly a lovely group of people, and all of the proceeds from anthology sales go towards supporting them and NaNoWriMo!
